Shades of white (part one)...

"Shades of White" is the June 18th blog post at Sadie Olive, and while I don't have her talent as a photographer, I do have plenty of white around my house to photograph! Today's post (part one) will be "shades of white" from inside my home (some new photos, some that you’ve perhaps already seen); tomorrow's post will be "shades of white" from around the yard.

  1. Very pretty. I love the door knocker. But is it in a coffin? Poor thing looks lonely in there. LOL

    Hugs to you,

  5. Hi Donna,
I, too, love that door knocker -- and what a terrific idea for using it! I'll have to go on over and visit Sadie Olive to see all the white.

You asked about my camera -- it's a Nikon D40. I used a 55-200mm zoom lens for the turkey vultures. The lens came with the camera package. My husband gave it to me for Christmas, and it is the BEST present I ever got!

I am going to try the peanuts for my Chippy. Happy weekend!
    xoxo,
    Mary

  7. Donna,

I think you may be right about the Hummer. She came to the feeder several times in the late afternoon Wed, but I didn't see her yesterday. perhaps for the greater good I should move the feeder nearer the potential nest. Or go to Target and buy another one.

  10. I have always wondered about your fuzzies on the side of the page. If it shows a - between the dates does that mean they are no longer with you? The little troll just tugs at my heart! Thank you for being such a great supporter of animals!

  12. Donna,

Thanks so much for the link for the screen! I can hardly wait to show my sweetheart husband. I'm going to show him the makeover you did to your fireplace brick too! It is amazing how great it looks.

    Thank You!
