Caught in the act!

Don't let this sweet little face fool you...

... not for a minute.

Yes, Baby. I'm talking about Y-O-U. And I'm about to spill the beans on you and your shenanigans.

The only other feline who had such a habit was my beloved Mr. B...

He also looked like the picture of innocence....

(I love you and miss you, my boy...)

Yes, our darling little Baby is channeling my Mr. B and has become....

A TOILET drinker!!!!!
That is just gross, Baby!!!!

How can such sweet little faces disguise such disgusting behavior!

So now that we have discovered her habit, we are all very careful to keep the lid closed when not in use! And no, Baby, I do not want a kiss right now!
Donna, who is writing from EXTREMELY cool New England (or maybe it just feels cool after the horrendously HOT summer we had!) In any case, have a happy week, everyone!

  1. ha ha ha ha ha Oh Donna, that was funny. Do you know that our cat loves to do that, too? It's a dis"flushing" behavior. We have to keep all lids down, too. Susan

  3. How funny! My cat used to do that too. She also loved to drink from the sink when the water was running.

Does your little one dip her paw into the bowl and lick it off or great right for the water with her mouth? Mine would dip her paw and lick it.

Want to hear something that most everyone will find sick? I wouldn't mind if she gave me a kiss right after drinking the water. I love animals so much it wouldn't even bother me.

I let my dog drink out of my glass and then I drink it. Most people can't stand the thought of that either. But my pets are my children :)

Glad it cooled off for you. We never had much heat this year at all. I'm scared we will get in Nov or Dec. I sure hope not. I hope we missed summer completely this year.

  6. Hi Donna~ ~ Such a sweet girl Baby is. No wonder you were smitten! We have a sad task ahead of us today, our mighty Babaje is going over the Rainbow Bridge. He will be so missed. Say a prayer for him.

  7. That last photo with the tongue out cracks me up! Oh, you have your hands full with this new baby - but how adorable! Nothing like a new furry member of the family to keep things interesting!

  9. Oh my goodness...you got some great pics of her and caught in the act too! Why do they seem to love toliet water...when they have wonderful tasting water in their bowl(not toilet bowl)...and think their food is a treat when it falls on the floor and it is the same thing that is in their food bowl. So funny!!!
