Happiness is...
...doing some work in my studio/office, channel surfing, and unexpectedly coming across an I Love Lucy marathon on TV! (Right now on the Hallmark channel if anyone is interested!)
I've seen every single episode more times than I can count, and I never, ever get tired of them. My mom loved I Love Lucy and I have the fondest memories of watching it with her! It immediately transports me back to this simpler, less hectic era. Instant nostalgia.
Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday afternoons!
Donna
Enjoy the marathon, Donna!
ReplyDeleteDon mailed your CD today - Thank you so much!

I LOVE LUCY~! Instant smiles and chuckles ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love, I love Lucy! I havn't seen all of them but it seems like the once I've seen like the chocolate factory and the potatoe sack dress I've seen several times.
ReplyDeleteShe's so funny!
Hi Donna...I used to love I Love Lucy when I was a kid, especially.
ReplyDeleteHad a great time today. Went to a Botanical Garden filled with magnificent blooming plants. Will post quite a few photos over the next few days. It was at Smith College in Northampton. Have you been there? Take care. Susan
This made me laugh, because I am watching the marathon right now, lol!
ReplyDeleteIt's a commercial so I just hopped onto my Google reader to read my favorite blogs and your post about I Love Lucy came up.
I love that show! Happy watching!
Hi Donna! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a wonderful comment! Naturally, I had to stop by and look and your blog, too. I would have to say we are Kindred Spirits! I love Shabby/Cottage Chic, animals...especially dogs! I like the music and movies you listed...and I think some of the books. I forgot already! Great to meet you...and of course, anyone who's a friend of Susan's (above) is a friend of mine! I'm a new follower! Thanks, again....your comment really warmed my heart!
ReplyDeleteAnd, OH, P.S. I love Lucy, too, AND I stumbled across the marathon on TV about the same time you did!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Donna,
ReplyDeleteYes I caught some of this too. She could always make me laugh out loud. I certainly miss the good clean humor of television shows when we were growing up.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. ~Natalie
I don't know what it is about Lucy but I could watch it over and over (and I have) and never tire of it. Normally I don't like to watch reruns but with Lucy, well bring it on :)
