It's fitting that he should show it to you since it covers up the slipcovered seating area that's all pulled from "pussyfooting" kitty claws...
I found this at a second-hand shop when I switched over from prim to cottage...
It's actually a reversible, ruffled baby crib comforter... (I don't remember sweet little crib comforters like this back when my girls were babies!!)
I have always loved stripes and florals together, and the colors in this comforter are cottage perfect!!
I think I'd use it even if I wasn't trying to hide kitty damage!
Be sure to visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to see her Pink Saturday post and to find a list of all the other pink-loving bloggers who are participating in today's Pink Saturday!!

How lovely that you "switched from prim to cottage" - it all looks delightful and Spotty looks really at home as only a kitty can!
ReplyDeleteYour recent snow pics are great - I remember the snow like that when I lived in Mass. We just had some this week in NC - it was pretty around the cottage, and 6" was more than enough! Soon you will out snapping Spring shots of the same views - lovely thought.

The little cover is so cute and goes so well with your decor. I just love pink, but I also love red, so I am constantly torn as to which way to go. Because I have so much red, I guess I'll stick with that. Spotty (so cute) has good taste and must love the cover, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely throw! The beautiful kitty did such a great job of showing it off. ;)
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed the "balance beam in the family room" post! Oh, your kitty cats are adorable!
