Last month I posted a
30-second video of Amanda feeding and petting our little Chip...
(one of them anyhow!)
Clearly the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Her grampa
(my dad) also has a soft spot for all of God's little creatures...
When dad was here for lunch a couple of weeks ago I suggested we eat out on the deck
(it was before the terrible heat wave hit!)
It wasn't long before Chip decided to join us, much to dad's delight!
What can I say? It's in the genes!
Oh Donna Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteHow sweet your Daddy looks feeding that little chipmunk. His little cheeks are so full I don't know how he could have possibly held another nut, but he must have loved your sweet Daddy.
Precious photos. So precious. Thank you for sharing with me today. Have a gorgeous day sweetie.
Country hugs..>Sherry
Your Dad has the sweetest face, Donna! I can just tell what a gentle man he is. Chips knows an animal lover when he sees one. I love this post.

Now I know why you are such an animal lover. You get it from your dad. And I get my love of animals from my mom.
