But as you can see in our "wavy mirror" reflection, it's true!!!
But since this is New England, I know better than to expect these warm temps to last long.
After all, this is what we woke to on April 1st of last year!
I guess it was Mother Nature's April Fool's Day joke on us.
And as BEAUTIFUL as it was, I do not want a repeat performance this year!
Wishing you gentle spring weather wherever you are!
Donna

Hi Donna....Same here in the Midwest! We've had some record breaking high temps, and I'm loving it! Everything is blooming two to three weeks early! It's always possible here for a surprise April snow, too...I hope none of us get that! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI opened most of the windows in the condo today. The kitties each had a window to themselves. They were sniffing at the air at first and then they slept in the windows for most of the day.
ReplyDeleteI'm crossing my fingers that this weather sticks. Having the windows open has bee wonderful! Yesterday I picked up rocks (boring and exhausting) in the sun. The sun made it all okay.

Wow! Well I hope there's no April Fools trick for you all this year. It's so hot here (Atlanta) already that the AC has been running 24 -7!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I don't think the birds know it's New England because they are already nesting! We even have a pair of Bluebirds preparing for parenthood and it's to early, far to early. If we get a snow storm the eggs may not make it. But for now I am loving these warm days with the windows wide open!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna, thanks for visiting Beachnut Lane! Up here in North Conway it is 80 degrees today! Its funny that you posted pictures of snow, because everyone has been saying not to get too comfortable with the warm weather, we are still waiting for a big spring snowstorm! Hope they are wrong!
ReplyDeleteWishing you spring soon ~ it is already summer here in Southeast Missouri! Lovely blog, I'm a new follower!
