Shabby PINK chenille scarf...

I was absolutely smitten when I spotted this reversible chenille/patchwork scarf on ETSY a couple of years ago... It was being sold as a neck scarf, but I'm using it on the small CD case at the end of our hallway...

The colors are predominantly pink on pink, although some squares feature pink flowers on a robin's egg blue background...

It gives some 'oomph' to an otherwise plain CD case...

The ends of the scarf have the sweetest tassels... Nothing compares to handmade, and ETSY is full of the most talented people selling their creations.

This is the other end with its tassels, lace, and fringe...

Luscious pink roses and pink crocheted detailing...

And the reverse side is made from the flowered section of a pale pink vintage chenille spread, which is so pretty...

Don't forget to check out everybody else's PINK SATURDAY posts at How Sweet the Sound!!!

  1. Donna,

The scarf is gorgeous! How lucky you were to find it and I love the way you're using it! I have lots of fabric remnants and now I'm wondering if I should try to make something like that.

  10. Hi Donna! That scarf is wonderful. You did such a great job photographing it, too! I love how you used it atop your CD case (which is pretty cool, too!)! How are your hummers?

  11. I love the way you used that scarf. I think it looks so much nicer there then just around a neck. You're right! It gives that CD holder just the right touch!

I've been playing catch up as I've been super busy the past few days.

We have the hummingbirds all year long where I live. I guess they can't take the cold where you live.

Sadly here Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall really are all the same. We have had some Christmas Days where it's in the 90's.

So who knows, maybe your little birds will end up flying here to my home.

    Hugs,
    Joanne
