....has now been put to use on the kitchen counter as a utensil holder.
It may go back to being a flower vase at some point, but for now it's replacing a tall pottery vase that I had been using for the utensils that was very prone to tipping over.
I love it's fancy little handle...

Great use for the little silver pitcher. Looks nice! Susan
I sure wish that I had something lying around that is that pretty. Carla
Darling idea, it's beautiful and so useful too! I looove using items we wouldn't normally use for everyday and displaying them like you have with this piece! It's perfectly unexpected! Debbie @ Cottage Hann~Me~Downs
This is a great idea! Mine is collecting tarnish in the garage. My late mother would be appalled!

A great use for such a beautiful thing. May I say, your new kitten is 'scrumptious'. What a beauty!
What a gorgeous thing to put your utensils in. I love it.
Love it.... I use a small crock for my kitchen utensils!!
Have a Great TGIF!

I love it! I have a silver pitcher like that stored away until we move into the new house. If we ever do.LOL
What an elegant way to store your utensils! I really like it, Donna. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.

I have one similar to that except it is tarnished. Hmmmm, maybe I'll put it in the garden house when I am finished there!
Hope you have a great weekend!

I love your blog, I write to you a translator / google, but I wanted to tell you that this blog is great!
This is beautiful. I am hosting a 50 dollar CSN Giveaway on my blog. I would love for you to stop by. Thanks Anu!
love that! I use a an old crock that is supposed to be a flower pot. I saw one some time ago where someone had used an old strawberry planting crock as a utensil holder. It was neat because the old crock had holes all the way down to the bottom where you could stick utensils. Have a fabulous week! ~ Lynn @thevintagenest

I am a few days late for this party, but I just had to say I love this!! I keep my utensils in small crocks, but I have been on a silver kick lately, this is just what I need!! Thanks:-)
Hope you are having a fab weekend!
