In addition to the beauty of a winter's snow (as you can see, I'm really trying to focus on all the positives of winter since it will be camped in my back yard for at least another month!)...
...we're treated to the sweet little juncos that arrive along with old man winter.
This is the view outside my dining room window. The ivy covered chimney and old picket gate, the arbor and fence were all coated with a heavy white snow after our last storm.
Hello Donna... right now we are having a big snowstorm and my backyard too is FULL of beautiful little Juncos! I am not fond of winter but I sooo love those little birds! xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I love birds (and snow, too!)

Like you, I just so enjoy watching the birds outside. And the squirrels with all their antics.

Let's hope you are right about the one more month of Winter. I am less optimistic about it.
ReplyDeleteCute Juncos and your backyard looks lovely bathed in snow.
Have a great weekend.
AWWW what a sweet photo,,, I love to bird watch too.... and the Snow in your back yard is beautiful to look at,,, but hope it goes away soon....
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend

Aren't they the sweetest little birds? Funny how they just show up one day in the late fall and then leave just as quickly in the spring. Never bothering anything or anyone.
ReplyDeleteLooks like our snow is about to disappear : (
I love watching the juncos, too. So many little birds appear in the winter. I love watching our pair of cardinals, too.

Well Donna, I adore seeing the snow covered yard you share with us. I would love to be able to look out and see how pretty that is. It's like a picture!
ReplyDeleteHey, go make me a snowman will ya? I've always wanted to make one my whole life and have never been able to. I have not been in the snow that much.
So to me, you are lucky! You can go make a snowman and then come inside and mark it down as exercise on your WW book.
Hugs,
Joanne
I love the different snow birds and they are sure fun to watch fighting over the feed that I provide.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna
ReplyDeleteI'd trade a little snow for all of the rain and wind we just had :(
Your photos are so serene.
Enjoy!
