The blizzard has arrived...
After Saturday's snowstorm, the whiskey barrel was still visible. Not anymore.
There truly is a table under that mountain of snow...
A brave little junco sits on the railing.
There will be much shoveling to be done, for sure.
The mailboxes are almost completely covered.
So happy I made a ton of roasted vegetables and potatoes last night.
They will taste very good tonight.
I hope you are all staying warm and safe.
Donna
NOTE: To Gina, and anyone else - here's a link to a past post on roasted vegetables. A have to say, though, that I do fiddle around with the temperature a bit, usually between 400 and 450 degrees!

Wow Donna, I'm jealous! I have been wanting a snow storm here and we have not gotten one yet. :) Tell me how you did your mushrooms please.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Gina
Oh, poor you! You got walloped. We were supposed to, too, but the storm tracked east and we just got an inch of snow. I was shocked! Stay warm, eat those veggies!

Wow! The bad weather in the USA even made it on to the early morning news in the UK. All the best, Jx
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of snow never seen so much in one place before.
ReplyDeleteMerle.........
Oh my, the blizzard passed us by. It was 74 in the Dallas area today. When we have this warm weather in January, it usually means a bad Feb for us.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe.
Thanks Donna, what kind of spices? I'm not a very experienced roaster. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Donna....Your end of the state got a lot of snow. Ours really didn't. It was a mega-turned-mini storm here. Susan
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of snow!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting snow photographs which remind me of living in New England in the far distant past. Nothing like that happening here in my far corner of the Northwest. We are ignored in the news, except of course for winning the Superbowl. Oh, yes, that is this-coming Sunday!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Greg and his cats
All those roasted veggies look delicious even without a snow storm! So glad I'm not the one who has to do all that shoveling! Stay warm!!

That was quite the storm and so was this weeks snow. Really crazy Winter pattern we are in.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are shoveled out. It took me a long time to do just my car.
The bright spot was the Patriots. Since I am a rabid fan I am thrilled at Sunday's outcome.
Oh my word. I'm so glad I don't live where you do! I would have to wait for it all to melt...
ReplyDeleteWe have not had any snow like that! seems cozy to be inside....your roasted vegtables had me wanting to come right over...so yummy!
