Tonight we had a simple tossed salad, served in this large glass bowl. Perfect for salads - wide but not too deep.
On Father's day we had a hummus, artichoke, tomato and romaine salad with black olives and mozzarella cheese...

Your salads look delicious, especially on your thrifty platters.
I love thrift shop dishes and decor items. Your glass bowl/plates are perfect. I think food always looks so nice and inviting when placed on glass. Yummy-yum salad!

I think we all share "thrift love" now. Food just tastes better on a plate with a mysterious history, doesn't it?

Hi Donna
Well your salads look so appetizing and I love like you to use lovely old china that I have picked up at local antique auctions. Love your blog.

Donna,
Your salads look delicious. The second one looks especially wonderful and I'm going to make it for a get together.
I also want to thank you for leaving your encouraging words about my daughter Heather on my blog. I appreciate you posting her photo and link on your sidebar.
