The Chip Whisperer....

(A photo of "Back Yard Chip." All of our Chips are named for the locations of their little holes/dens. It is Backyard Chip that appears in the following video)

A sweet little video of Amanda, home from the city for a few days, feeding Back Yard Chip out on the deck this week...
I think it was my good friend, Claudia, who used the term Chip Whisperer in a comment she left in one of my previous "Chip" posts. Love it! haha Bless the beasts and the children... Donna

That's amazing that the chipmunk would eat our of her hands, honey! Must be tame.

That was absolutely amazing. Never thought a while creature would allow a human to pet him. Guess I learn something new every day. Susan

Adorable! even the title made me smile1

I have fond childhood memories of feeding the Chipmunks at Mount Rainier National Park. Some of those chippies were huge! ♥

Oh my gosh, adorable! You inspire me to try and make friends with our Chip. But that little one is so elusive, I can only hope. Of course, some peanut buying is in order first!

I've been lurking and watching for awhile and that adorable video brought me out of my shell. Hello and thanks for the smile. I wish I had little "Chips" in my neck of the woods. The animals that visit my yard aren't that cute.

Wow! That is so cool that it would even let someone pet it. We have seen so many of them this year for the first time that I can ever remember. They are soooo cute, but they sure leave holes everywhere!

We have a family of chipmunks and one of them will take peanuts from my hand. But none of them would ever let me pet them I'm sure. It is just so cute to watch your daughter petting that little one and it so obviously enjoys it! :)
