There will be no decorating this year...
... and Baby has been put in the Naughty Chair.
Hearing a ruckus in the living room, I rushed out to find you-know-who at the scene of the crime, looking around as though to say, "I wonder who made this mess?" Nice try, Baby, but I'm onto you...
My beautiful lace valance and rod were no longer hanging...
The shutters had been pushed open and the doilies inside the bay window were all bunched up...
Yup. I think it's safe to say that our Christmas decorations will be spending this year safely tucked away in the basement.
Baby, baby, baby... our little wild child....
In my next post I'll show you a few more beautifully illustrated copies of The Night Before Christmas that I came across this year (my collection is taking on a life of its own!)...

Oh my...I so relate. I have been through this many times. It only takes about 10 years for baby to grow up and only have a mild destructive streak. hahahahaha!
Oh, yes...that is a cat for you. So curious about everything and all things newly put up as decorations.
Your Baby is so cute.
awww poor kitty! hahahaha I love cats so much, despite how bad they can be.
Your baby is just too pretty! I love her markings!!!!!
oh my! I do so understand...with a new kitty in the house this year I had to anchor my tree to the living room window with some wire. My husband thought I'd gone crazy until he saw how much fun our little one has had removing ornaments form the lower part of the tree...at least it's still upright!
Oh Baby! Well you have to think of kitty's safety. So no decorations this year.
