You can't fool Mother Nature...

... but she can sure FOOL you!!!

I'd love to say this is an April Fool's Day gag post...

..but it's not! This is the view we woke to this morning.

It started late last night...

... with HUGE snowflakes falling from the heavens...

(even though in my photos they look like darts!)

You'll just have to trust me - they were big, gorgeous snowflakes!

And as SICK as I am of snow, the beauty of it always takes my breath away...

...with the view from each window...

..being more gorgeous than the last...

So we'll grin and bear it, once again....

... and admire the winter wonderland that Mother Nature dropped on our doorstep...

On this lovely, spring, April Fool's Day.

I can't get over the irony of that!

But HOPE springs eternal that Spring will be on it's merry way to New England in the very near future!!

50's by Tuesday! Come on Spring, bring it! LOL!

It is lovely outside but not lovely to shovel. Seems like all the snow is melting pretty fast. Luckily we didn't lose our power but we did have about 6" of the wet, sticky stuff!

That is exactly what I awoke to....
FYI.... I am pretty sure Mother Nature has PMS!! LOL!!
Have A Wonderful Weekend!!

It sure is pretty but I can see how you would long for Spring now. You have had your fair share of snow and now it's time for some sun and pretty flowers :)

Soon, hopefully soon.

Donna, I only have a few weeks to get my garden ready before I have to leave again! This crappy weather is not helping me at all. What a dreadful winter this has been.

Didn't that just feel like an April Fool's joke?? We had that but a day earlier today it was so much nicer and temps were in the upper 40s.

You captured some very beautiful pictures...breathless. Winter is certainly such a beautiful time...slightly too long...slightly too cold...etc..but it is beautiful.

Hope it warms up for you soon.

OOOOH, At first I thought this was a April Fools joke, but saw the weather your way and know the truth. I'm so sorry for you but it is beautiful!! It was 92 degrees here today. At least you don't have to run the air conditioner!!

Hi Donna...We didn't get too much and much of it was melted by day's end. (Thank goodness). Let's all keep hoping. Susan

Ha ha, Mother nature did the exact oppostite to us. Gave us a beautiful gorgeous 68% day. She said enjoy it because this weekend it will snow.
Another little april fools story...
A friend of ours with 4 little boys just bought some baby chicks. He took some of or eggs and hid them with his chicks. When the boys found them, they really thought the babys had laid them. lol! Kind of cute and very springish!

A fresh snow really is beautiful. I love the shot of the big tree covered in white. Hang in there, Spring will be there soon!

The snow is beautiful, but I know you are so very tired of it. I hope that spring will arrive on your door step very soon!

Oh. look at all of that snow! We had about an hour of big pretty flakes but no accumulation. 75 degrees today but back to cooler and windy conditions tomorrow.

Sweet stopping by!

Its not Christmas but the white landscape looks so pretty. The weather here in Malaysia is super Hot. I can't imaging living in a place that snows so heavily... I imagine it to be lovely snuggling under a blanket with something hot to drink :)

Hang in there. As they say, in the humidity of summer, you may wish for days of snow. :)
