the promise of spring...

Everything is relative... If this were the middle of August, a day with temps hovering in the mid-50's would send me scurrying around the house closing windows...

But since it's the middle of February, where the temps for the past 3-4 months have been in the 30's, 20's, or lower, a 50+ degree day sent me scurrying around the house to open windows!

Come on, Spring!!!! I'm ready when you are!

I'm with you. I'm ready for the flowers to start growing and making me smile.

We are set to have another week of rain. While I love the rain, I'm ready for it go away now. I just want to cuddle up and stay inside watching tv when it rains and that is not good for my diet.

Today I decided to go to a movie and I'm going to walk there and back. It's about 3 miles one way. I figure at least I'll be moving a little bit and the movie will be my reward for walking. LOL

How are you doing? Still weighing in?

Hugs,
Joanne

Me, too! I don't even need a jacket today, at temps I would normally consider chilly.

Me, too! I am so ready for spring! But then I hear we have some snowy days ahead of us this week - hopefully no big accumulation. I have been so down lately with all this gray sky, snowy weather.

Oh, you lucky Donna,
We are still in the 20's for highs. ARRRGH. Winter is too long here. Glad you had some nicer weather. We would have got out the shorts. Hugs, Cindy

I feel the same way Donna, come on Spring! Unfortunately colder temps and snow are headed our for us this week. Hopefully it won't last for long though. Only 3 weeks until we change the clocks!

Oh yeah, I could certainly handle a few more of those 50 degree days.
Wasn't it nice? But back to the cold this morning, oh the wind! BRR!

I was opening all our windows too. I just could not wait and it was so nice and warm yesterday. Today is another story, cold and raining.

How funny, I did the samething yesterday. When I saw our thermostat say 48 degrees, I opened kitchen window and sliding door a crack, but it was so nice and my kitty's were loving it!

I think I'm ready for spring right now today! We're not accustomed to this strange weather in Texas. And it's supposed to snow tomorrow. Another oddity.

I like to crack the window all the time, but yes 50's would be wide open for me too!

Just "found" you....adding up your weight loss in sidebar, it appears to me you've lost WAY more than you record as "total"! Congratulations!
